When I think of summer, I think of laying on the beach, driving around with the windows down, the taste of melting ice cream and the smell of the salty ocean air. These are some of my favorite sweet things about summer, and they play a huge role in some of my fondest summer memories. But if there’s one thing that can bring me back to any summertime moment, it’s music. I’m always creating new playlists that are filled with uplifting and fun songs on Spotify, so I decided to share my most recent summer playlist. It’s a mix of songs old and new, from indie to pop, and so on. I love hearing what different kinds of music people listen to, and I love sharing what kind of music I listen to. These are just some of the songs that I associate with my favorite time of the year, summer. As my dad was saying the other day, like the Beach Boys, there is a type of music and specific songs that are even better when you listen to them in the 80 degree days of summer.
